Breastfeeding Support Group

In Raceland, LA, the Breastfeeding Support Group is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for expectant, new, and experienced mothers to come together and share their breastfeeding journeys. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings focus on practical advice, supportive discussions, and valuable nutritional education to empower mothers in their breastfeeding experience. We cover essential topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning home with your baby, overcoming common challenges, and guidance on nutrition and weaning. While in-person gatherings are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite mothers to connect with local leaders for support and explore alternative meeting options, ensuring that every mother feels welcomed and supported in her breastfeeding goals.
