Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Port Allen, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional practices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. WIC offers vital resources including access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for growth and development, nutrition education to enhance dietary choices, comprehensive breastfeeding support, and essential referrals to additional health services. Our mission is to empower families by providing the tools and guidance they need to thrive.
