Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Port Allen, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers vital food assistance through supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients that support growth and development. In addition to providing nutritious food, we focus on delivering comprehensive nutrition education to enhance dietary choices and health practices, offer guidance and support for breastfeeding, and connect families with additional health services to ensure a holistic approach to well-being. We are here to serve, empower, and uplift our community's families.
