MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Port Allen, LA is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and provided with personalized treatment options tailored to their needs and preferences. We offer a range of support including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides at-home messaging and clinician contact. For Veterans who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who have struggled with weight-related issues despite previous efforts.
