The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Ponchatoula, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential supplemental foods rich in the vital nutrients necessary for growth and development, along with comprehensive nutrition education to enhance dietary and health practices. Additionally, we connect families with referrals to other necessary health services, empowering them to lead healthier lives.
