Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Based in Plaquemine, Louisiana, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital food assistance by providing nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for growth and development. Our program goes beyond nutrition by equipping participants with essential education to improve dietary and health habits, offering personalized support for breastfeeding, and facilitating referrals to a network of additional health services. We are committed to ensuring that families receive the resources and encouragement they need to thrive.
