The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pineville, LA, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of food advocates and educators committed to social, environmental, and economic justice in our food systems. Through our comprehensive program, we empower Fellows with hands-on training and organic food system education at our vibrant farm, all tuition-free to foster accessibility. Participants engage in meaningful projects, including growing diverse crops, running educational health initiatives, and enhancing school and community gardens. Our Fellows also learn to integrate food and ecological literacy into educational activities, support farmers' markets, and create channels for greater access to healthy foods. Following an immersive six-month experiential learning phase at our farm, each Fellow embarks on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations to apply their training and effect positive change in their communities. Applications are open until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
