Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Pearl River, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and their young children, from birth to five years old. Our mission is to promote nutritious food habits by offering supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients that foster optimal growth and development. We also provide valuable nutrition education to empower families in making healthier dietary choices, along with support for breastfeeding mothers to ensure their success. In addition, WIC connects families with important health resources to further support their journey toward improved health.
