Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in Patterson, LA, and the surrounding parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our mission is to offer comprehensive support through essential services designed specifically for older adults. We provide congregate meals and home-delivered meals to ensure nutritious options for those who are homebound. Additional services include homemaker assistance, in-home respite for caregivers, and legal assistance to empower seniors with their rights. We advocate for residents of long-term care facilities through our Ombudsman program and promote social interaction through recreational activities. Our wellness programs focus on improving both mental and physical health, while our transportation services facilitate access to senior centers, medical appointments, and community resources. Our warm and welcoming approach encourages connectivity and support, making sure that every senior feels valued and cared for.
