Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Patterson, LA, and the surrounding parishes, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. We offer essential services designed to support the elderly community, such as Congregate Meals for social nourishment, Home Delivered Meals for those who are homebound, and Homemaker services for assistance with light housekeeping tasks. Our Elderly Protective Services ensure the safety and well-being of seniors, while in-home Respite care provides caregivers with the necessary breaks to recharge. Additionally, we provide vital Legal Assistance, Ombudsman services to protect residents in long-term care, and engaging Recreation activities to foster social interaction. Our Telephoning service regularly checks in on older adults, and we offer convenient Transportation to various senior centers and medical appointments. With a strong focus on wellness, we provide resources to maintain and improve the physical and mental health of seniors through exercise, education, and socialization.
