Financial Assistance

Operation Family Fund in Patterson, LA, is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to eligible service members and their families through grants aimed at meeting basic needs such as medical care and home purchases. Understanding the unique challenges faced by military families, our program ensures that grants can support a variety of urgent requirements. To access these services, a verification of service-connected disability ratings by a case manager, social worker, or doctor is necessary, and while families may receive up to two grants, there is a required minimum waiting period of six months between each. Currently, we are facing a high volume of requests for aid, coupled with a funding shortfall due to insufficient donations, which means we are unable to accept new applications for our waiting list.
