EarlySteps is dedicated to supporting families in Opelousas, LA, with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years who are facing developmental challenges. We believe in empowering families to enhance their child's growth through an array of services tailored to meet individual needs. Our approach delivers vital assistance in the child's natural environment, which may include their home or community settings, ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for healthy development. Our comprehensive offerings include occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, psychological services, and nutritional guidance, among others, all designed to aid children with developmental delays in cognitive, motor, vision, hearing, communication, social-emotional, or adaptive areas. We invite anyone concerned about a child’s development to refer them to EarlySteps through First Steps Referral and Consulting, where we will engage with families to start the eligibility determination process. Together, we can promote and support the developmental journey of our youngest community members.
