EarlySteps is dedicated to supporting families in Oakdale, LA, with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years who are facing developmental challenges or have medical conditions likely to cause delays. Our mission is to empower parents by enhancing their children's cognitive, motor, vision, hearing, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive development through a vast array of services tailored to each child's needs. We believe in making a difference in a child's life within familiar settings like homes or childcare facilities, ensuring services such as assistive technology, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and special instruction are easily accessible. EarlySteps also includes vital support elements like service coordination and translation services, ensuring families have the resources they need, all underpinned by Federal and State Medicaid funding. Referrals to our program can be made by anyone and will initiate a process to determine eligibility to connect your child with the services they deserve.
