Food for Families and Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to empowering eligible seniors in New Orleans, LA, by providing essential food assistance through monthly nutritional food boxes. Each box is thoughtfully packed with nutritious items like canned meats, fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, and shelf-stable milk, designed to support a healthy diet while stretching food dollars. Beyond just food distribution, we offer vital nutrition education, equipping our participants with knowledge on how to prepare simple, healthy meals and optimize their food resources.
