Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in New Iberia, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy growth and nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission centers on providing supplemental nutritious foods essential for development, alongside vital nutrition education that empowers families to make informed dietary choices. WIC also offers crucial support for breastfeeding and connects participants with other necessary health services. We invite eligible families to visit our clinic for enrollment, where each individual applying for WIC is encouraged to attend their appointment to receive personalized assistance.
