Senior Services of New Iberia, LA, offers a comprehensive range of support to enhance the quality of life for the elderly across the eight-parish area, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our mission is to ensure that older adults receive the assistance they need to live healthy, engaged lives. We provide nutritious congregate meals in community settings, as well as home-delivered meals for those who are homebound, frail, or disabled. Our dedicated team offers homemaker services for light housekeeping, in-home respite for caregivers, legal assistance for advice and representation, and an ombudsman program to advocate for residents in long-term care facilities. We also emphasize recreation by organizing social activities, transportation for seniors to community centers and medical appointments, and wellness programs focused on maintaining mental and physical health. Our visiting service allows us to connect with older individuals personally, offering companionship and support.
