One-On-One Nutrition Consultations

In New Iberia, LA, One-On-One Nutrition Consultations, offered by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), provides compassionate, free support to cancer patients and their caregivers. Our program focuses on empowering individuals through personalized phone consultations with registered dietitians, lasting about 30 minutes. Participants receive practical nutrition education, including strategies to enhance nutrition during treatment, meal planning tips, and advice for supporting loved ones battling cancer. Additionally, we address specific questions regarding nutrition and guide individuals on how to engage effectively with their healthcare teams. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to vital nutritional resources to navigate the challenges of cancer treatment with confidence and care.
