In New Iberia, LA, the Grant Program of the American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to providing vital financial support to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer and to survivors within four years of remission. Our mission is to alleviate some of the emotional and financial burdens associated with medical treatment, ensuring families can focus on healing and togetherness. We offer assistance for a variety of needs including housing, utilities, food, medical expenses, prescriptions, transportation to medical appointments, and even funeral costs when necessary. Each request for support is carefully reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis, depending on available funds and the specific needs outlined in the Benevolence Request Application. By covering these essential expenses directly with service providers, we aim to provide immediate relief and support during difficult times.
