Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Teche Action Board, Inc. is dedicated to supporting families in Morgan City, LA through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, which focuses on providing essential food assistance and nutrition education for new mothers and their children. We offer supplemental foods, promote breastfeeding, and connect families with vital medical and community resources. If you are currently enrolled in the Louisiana Medicaid Program, SNAP (Food Stamp) Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), LA CHIP, or LA MOMS benefits, you automatically meet the income eligibility criteria for WIC. Additionally, caregivers of children aged five and under are encouraged to apply and benefit from our comprehensive support services.
