At Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. in Morgan City, LA, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly across our eight-parish service area, which includes Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support through an array of essential services, such as congregate and home-delivered meals that offer nutrition and comfort, elderly protective services, homemaking assistance, and in-home respite care for caregivers. We also offer legal assistance to ensure that seniors receive the guidance they deserve, and an ombudsman program that safeguards the rights of those in long-term care. Our engaging recreational programs foster social interaction and well-being, while transportation services help seniors access vital resources. Additionally, we maintain connection through regular check-in calls and home visits, prioritizing mental and physical wellness with health screenings, exercise, and educational resources. Together, we are committed to building a supportive community for our seniors, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard.
