MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Morgan City, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they receive personalized referrals to various weight management options tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer an array of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, providing in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans also have access to the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management, along with weight loss medications and, if necessary, bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges with weight-related issues.
