Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Minden, LA, plays a vital role in fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing access to supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients, tailored nutrition education to enhance dietary choices, and unwavering support for breastfeeding. We also connect families with additional health services, ensuring comprehensive care for their nutritional and health needs. We invite eligible families to visit our clinic for enrollment, bringing all applicants on their appointment date to start their journey towards better health and wellbeing.
