Food for Families / Food for Seniors, operated by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans in Minden, LA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in need through our monthly nutritional food boxes. Each box is carefully curated to include a variety of nutritious items, such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, and shelf-stable milk, ensuring that our seniors have the resources to maintain a healthy diet. Beyond food distribution, we empower our participants with vital nutrition education, offering guidance on affordable meal preparation, calorie management, and making healthy food choices. We invite eligible seniors to join our program and start benefiting from our caring support and comprehensive resources aimed at fostering well-being in our community.
