MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Metairie, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management solutions. Our mission is to combat obesity by annually screening all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities and providing tailored recommendations for weight management services. Veterans can access a range of options, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system for ongoing clinician support. For those who prefer an independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app offers convenience and guidance. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need advanced interventions after participating in our program.
