Grant Program

The American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to providing critical financial support to families in Metairie, LA, facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Our Grant Program assists families of children currently battling cancer and supports survivors within four years of remission. We understand that the multifaceted burdens of housing, utilities, food, and medical expenses can be overwhelming. Therefore, our program offers financial assistance for essential needs, including living expenses, prescriptions, funeral costs, and transportation to treatment. Each request for assistance is evaluated on an individual basis, ensuring we direct funds where they are most urgently needed. Approved benevolence requests are paid directly to service providers, alleviating the financial stress so families can focus on what matters most – their child’s well-being.
