Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Marrero, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, and their infants and young children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide vital supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients to support growth and development, alongside comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary habits and overall health. We are committed to offering resources and support for breastfeeding mothers and connecting families to additional health services. If you participate in the Louisiana Medicaid Program, SNAP, TANF, LA CHIP, or LA MOMS, you may already qualify for WIC.
