The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Marksville, LA, is a free initiative designed specifically for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over the course of 12 months, participants will engage with six carefully crafted e-booklets that address various aspects of diabetes management at a comfortable pace, supported by a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources available in both English and Spanish. This program also provides valuable information about local community events tailored to enhance the learning experience. For those who share their phone numbers, we offer exclusive access to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where participants can directly engage with ADA experts to ask questions, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways aimed at helping them thrive.
