Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Mandeville, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers a range of vital services including access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for the growth and developmental needs of young children, comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary and health practices, support and resources for successful breastfeeding, and connections to additional health services.
