Food for Families / Food for Seniors, part of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans in Mandeville, LA, is dedicated to supporting our senior community through essential food assistance. We offer monthly nutritional food boxes filled with healthy, nourishing items like canned meats, nutritious vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, and staples like pasta and cheese, ensuring that our seniors have access to wholesome meals. In addition to providing emergency food, our program focuses on empowering participants with valuable nutritional education, equipping them with knowledge about healthy eating, budget-friendly meal planning, and simple recipes. By fostering good health and well-being, we strive to create a supportive environment for seniors, making it easier for them to maintain a balanced diet while stretching their food dollars. To enroll in our program and start receiving food boxes, seniors can easily access and complete the Preliminary Certification application form online.
