MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Madisonville, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and connected to the appropriate weight management resources tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows Veterans to receive in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. The MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available for those who wish to manage their weight independently. For Veterans requiring additional support, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery following participation in MOVE!.
