MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Luling, LA is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who visits our VA facilities undergoes annual screening for obesity and receives tailored referrals to appropriate weight management options. We offer a range of supportive services designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of Veterans, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who prefer a self-managed approach to weight loss. For those facing ongoing challenges with weight or weight-related health issues, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
