Family Support

Located in Luling, LA, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing essential support to individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, as well as their families and care providers. Our Family Support team is here to offer accurate information and compassionate guidance right when families need it most. We focus on delivering vital resources including personalized parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, and behavior management strategies. Additionally, we assist families with navigating the complexities of application and appeal processes related to Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
