Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Livingston, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers essential services, including nutrient-rich supplemental foods, tailored nutrition education to enhance diet and health practices, breastfeeding support and guidance, and referrals to other vital health services. Our mission is to empower families with the resources and knowledge they need for optimal health and nutrition during critical developmental stages.
