The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Livingston, LA, is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits and ensure access to vital resources through the provision of supplemental, nutrient-rich foods essential for growth and development. Beyond food assistance, WIC offers valuable nutrition education to enhance dietary practices, comprehensive support for breastfeeding, and referrals to additional health services to empower families on their journey to better health. We are here to uplift and serve our community with care and commitment.
