Parents As Teachers - Region 9A MIECHV is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of pregnant women and families with young children in Livingston, LA. As part of the Louisiana Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program, we offer a no-cost, voluntary service where families are paired with qualified registered nurses or parent educators, delivering personalized coaching and education right in the comfort of their homes or chosen locations. Our mission is to empower families through comprehensive health education, positive parenting support, and goal-setting assistance, ultimately enhancing economic self-sufficiency and identifying developmental needs early on. By connecting families with valuable community resources and services, we strive to help them thrive and achieve their aspirations for a brighter future.
