Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Food for Families and Food for Seniors, part of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of seniors in Leesville, LA. Our program offers monthly food boxes filled with essential items such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, a variety of grains, and dairy products to ensure that seniors have access to nutritious meals. Alongside food assistance, we provide vital nutrition education, empowering participants with information on how to prepare healthy meals, manage caloric intake, and make the most of their food budgets. We believe in fostering a healthier community by not only providing emergency food resources but also equipping our seniors with knowledge to lead healthier lives.
