Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Lake Charles, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old. We provide essential supplemental food high in nutrients crucial for growth and development, while also offering valuable nutrition education to foster better dietary and health practices. Our caring staff supports breastfeeding mothers with information and encouragement, and we facilitate referrals to additional health services to ensure comprehensive care for families.
