OvarCare Patient Assistance Program

OvarCare Patient Assistance Program stands dedicated to supporting women confronting the challenges of ovarian cancer in Lake Charles, LA. Our mission is to empower these courageous individuals by providing vital resources that address their immediate needs. We offer a financial assistance package that includes a $200 grant, a $100 gas card, and a $100 grocery card to help ease the burden during treatment. In addition to financial support, we provide psycho-social counseling sessions conducted by licensed clinical social workers and genetic counseling sessions via phone by certified genetic counselors. We encourage healthcare professionals—physicians, nurses, and social workers—to submit applications on behalf of patients, ensuring that our support reaches those who need it most. Our application process is straightforward: we evaluate submissions in the order received and grant distributions depend on available funding. Together, we celebrate the resilience of ovarian cancer patients by helping them navigate their journey with care and compassion.
