Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Lafayette, LA, and the surrounding eight parish area, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our comprehensive services include Congregate Meals that offer nutritionally balanced meals in a welcoming community setting, and Home Delivered Meals for homebound and disabled elderly individuals. We provide vital support through Elderly Protective Services, light housekeeping assistance with our Homemaker program, and respite care in the home for caregivers. Our experienced staff offers Legal Assistance to ensure seniors receive the guidance they need, while our Ombudsman services safeguard the rights of Long Term Care facility residents. We also champion wellness through various recreational activities that foster social interaction and wellbeing, transportation to essential appointments and senior centers for enhanced accessibility, and visiting services that bring companionship and support to older adults.
