Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Lacombe, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential supplemental foods that are rich in the nutrients critical for growth and development, along with comprehensive nutrition education that empowers families to make informed dietary choices. We offer supportive resources for breastfeeding mothers and facilitate referrals to additional health services, ensuring that every family has access to the care and assistance they need for a healthier future.
