Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Lacombe, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers critical food assistance through nutritious supplemental foods that support essential growth and development, nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary habits, and resources to promote and support breastfeeding. Additionally, we provide referrals to other vital health services, ensuring families receive comprehensive support on their journey towards better health.
