Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

In Lacombe, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food choices and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families by providing essential supplemental foods rich in vital nutrients necessary for healthy growth and development, comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary habits, and vital resources for breastfeeding support. We also connect families with additional health services to ensure holistic wellness. To access our services, participants are required to provide proof of income, residency, and identification during their appointment.
