Health Services and Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Rooted in Lacombe, LA, Health Services and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is dedicated to fostering lasting relationships with our clients through trust and open communication. We offer comprehensive health services catering to all ages, from infants to seniors. Our mission includes empowering low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with children under five, through the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program. This program provides access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods, nutrition education, and essential support for breastfeeding, ensuring the wellbeing of families in need. We also extend a range of health services, including family planning, high-risk nutrition, immunizations, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and referrals, all tailored to support the unique health needs of our community. With fees based on a sliding scale to accommodate different income levels, our goal is to provide care with compassion and understanding.
