Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in La Place, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors by providing essential food assistance. Each month, eligible participants receive nutritious food boxes filled with items such as canned meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, breakfast cereals, and dairy products, ensuring they have access to balanced meals. Beyond just food, our program prioritizes education by offering valuable resources on nutrition, budgeting for meals, and easy-to-make recipes that empower seniors to maintain a healthy diet.
