Located in La Place, LA, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing crucial financial assistance. Our program addresses a wide range of expenses, including medical costs such as prescriptions, medical bills, and durable medical equipment, as well as non-medical costs like home and vehicle modifications, clothing, and daily necessities. We also offer help with healthcare utilization costs, covering travel to medical facilities, lodging for families, and parking fees. Each family may receive grants up to $500 annually, with additional requests considered at the discretion of our Board. We are committed to a timely review process, ensuring that families receive the support they need as quickly as possible, typically within 15 business days. Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden on families and enhance their quality of life through compassionate and practical assistance.
