Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in Kentwood, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a vital initiative of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to eligible seniors in our community. We offer monthly nutritional food boxes packed with a variety of healthy options, such as canned meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals, and shelf-stable milk, ensuring our seniors have access to nourishing meals. In addition to emergency food supplies, we focus on empowering seniors through nutrition education, sharing easy-to-make recipes and practical advice on how to maximize their food budgets while maintaining a healthy diet.
