Diabetes Management Program

The Ochsner Diabetes Management Program, located in Kenner, LA, is dedicated to empowering individuals living with diabetes through comprehensive education and support. Accredited by the American Diabetes Association, our program offers expertise from certified diabetes educators who are registered nurses and dietitians. We provide tailored guidance for adults diagnosed with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. Participants can attend our engaging, monthly Basic Diabetes Group Classes, which combine interactive sessions with essential knowledge on blood sugar monitoring, medication management, and healthy eating strategies, including food label reading and carbohydrate counting.
