Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Kenner, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years of age. Our program offers vital services including access to supplemental foods that are rich in nutrients essential for the growth and development of young children. We provide comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary choices and overall health, along with support for breastfeeding mothers. Additionally, we assist families by connecting them to other essential health services. If you are participating in the Louisiana Medicaid Program, Louisiana SNAP (Food Stamp) Program, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), LA CHIP, or LA MOMS benefits, you likely qualify for our program.
