Women, Infant, & Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infant, & Children Program (WIC) in Kenner, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Managed by the St. Charles Community Health Center through Access Health Louisiana, WIC provides essential services that include food assistance designed to meet basic nutritional needs, comprehensive health screenings, personalized nutrition and breastfeeding counseling, immunization screenings, and referrals for substance abuse support.
