Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in Kenner, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to seniors in need. Each month, eligible participants receive a nutritious food box filled with essential items such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, breakfast cereals, rice, cheese, and shelf-stable milk. Beyond just food distribution, we prioritize education by offering nutritional guidance that includes easy-to-follow recipes and tips on making healthy eating choices while managing budgets effectively. Our mission is to empower seniors through both food assistance and knowledge, ensuring they have the resources they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
